The Church Ladies are a harmony based acoustic trio from the Manhattan, Kansas area. These are not your mama’s church ladies, but a fun and versatile group of women. They perform secular and non-secular music, you’ll hear bluegrass, country, rock, and folk. Their musicality is impressive as they switch instruments throughout a performance. Mary Louise Stahl plays the upright bass, mandolin, and Irish tenor banjo. Cindy Carlyon plays the melodica, and upright bass. Joan Nelson plays the 12-string guitar.
